We are part of the CEVA (Columbia Empire) region within USA Volleyball. CEVA administers memberships and many tournaments throughout the year. Visit their website for membership information and to get ahead of the ball-
Playing for G3 Volleyball Club is separate from Academy participation and payments. Academy is skill-based training sessions, while club is competitive team play.

Pre-Tryout Clinics- Cost for each clinic is $10 and will provide you an opportunity to meet G3 coaches, see the facility we practice in, and play alongside your future teammates. G3 coaches will lead players through drills and gameplay over the 2 hour sessions. These are not mandatory to play for a team at G3 but are meant to provide opportunities to get familiar with G3 culture, coaches, and teammates.

**Participants must have an up to date waiver on file** This is a one-time waiver for G3 Sports and Fitness. Instructions on completing the online waiver are below under Step 4 of tryout requirements.
Tryout Requirements: Must be completed prior to arriving at tryouts
1: CEVA/USAV Membership through Sports Engine. You can choose either a tryout membership or season membership (2023-2024). Tryout memberships must be upgraded after tryouts if your player makes a team.
You will need a screenshot/image AND your USAV membership number for Step 2 below.
2: G3 Tryout Registration Form & Payment: Please fill out AFTER getting CEVA/USAV Tryout or Season Membership as you will be required to use the same email you used for registering with CEVA/USAV. You will attach a copy of your membership form completed in Step 1 to this form.
3: CEVA Medical Release Form: Please PRINT, complete, and bring hard copy to tryouts.
4: G3 Minor Release Waiver- This is an electronic waiver completed by following the steps below:

Click “Register” and provide the required information to create YOUR (Parent's) account

NOTE: If you receive a message saying that your account already exists, you will need to select the “Forgot Password” option and create a new password before continuing

Once the above is complete, log in to the portal using the information you provided

Select “Attach Members” and enter the required information for your player(s)

NOTE: your player(s) may already be attached to your account if both of you already exist in the member portal. In this case, simply click on your player’s name to be taken to their profile.

From the player's profile, select “Sign/View Waivers” and sign the required forms
WHAT DOES CLUB LOOK LIKE AT G3?
All practices and scrimmages will be held at G3 Sports and Fitness. Practices are typically held twice a week for most teams and will follow a consistent and predictable schedule for the duration of the season. The number and type of tournaments will be different for each team, however we provide ample opportunities for competition and the CEVA region does a great job hosting power leagues and the regional tournament each season. These are supplemented by friendship and/or travel tournaments throughout the year.
All players will have access to our trainer for in-season strength and conditioning development if they so choose. Our trainer provides age and skill-appropriate trainings and we have seen incredible growth in the health and performance of the athletes who have trained with him.
G3 Volleyball is one of the very few clubs in Oregon with its own facility here in Corvallis. We offer a comfortable lobby with flat screen TVs for all parents and players to relax before or after practice, all in an air conditioned and heated facility. We never have to worry about any last minute changes to practice locations or or being cancelled due to other events.
